Applications are now being accepted for the 2017 Best Places to Work in Oklahoma program! The Oklahoma Human Resource State Council is once again proud to be supporting and endorsing this workplace survey and awards initiative. The program is a multi-year initiative encouraging companies in the Oklahoma to focus, measure, and advance workplace environments toward excellence. If you think your company is one of the Best Places to Work in Oklahoma, register and apply at bestplacestoworkok.com. Registrations must be submitted by Friday, May 19, 2017.
To be considered for participation, companies have to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Have at least 25 employees working in Oklahoma
- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
- Be a publicly or privately held business
- Have a facility in the state of Oklahoma
- Must be in business a minimum of 1 year.
Best Companies Group will survey participating companies and reveal award winners in September 2017. Award winners will receive a final ranking at the awards ceremony September 21, 2017. The rankings and in-depth interviews with the winners will also be published in the Best Places to Work in Oklahoma magazine, Oklahoma Gazette and on okc.BIZ. Best Places to Work magazine will be distributed at the conclusion of the awards event.
Winners will be selected from two categories, small companies of 25-249 employees and large companies consisting of 250 or more employees (category based on number of U.S. employees, only Oklahoma employees surveyed). The selection process is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey. Best Companies Group manages the assessment and survey based on research and list selection. All participating companies will receive the survey feedback, enabling them to develop plans and implement necessary steps to create a great workplace and continue to improve business performance. These companies may also contact Best Companies Group for a 30- minute phone session to review the data presented in the Employee Feedback Report.
