OKHR is co-sponsoring the first Oklahoma Work-Based Learning Summit in partnership with Oklahoma Works, Oklahoma City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and the National Skills Coalition on Monday, June 17th at Moore Norman Technology Center/South Penn Campus in Oklahoma City. This one-day summit will show you the direct benefits of Work-Based Learning through engaging panels and interactive breakout sessions. Join business owners, executives and human resources professionals from across industries and across the state to become equipped for establishing and administering work-based learning programs. Learn from experienced peers who have affected change, created skilled workers, and motivated employees through apprenticeships and internships. This Summit is the forerunner for our OKHR Blue Collar Worker Tours scheduled in Oklahoma City on September 13th and in Tulsa on September 24th as our Workforce Readiness 2019 and 2020 initiatives.
