"Equity and Equality as the Foundation for Inclusion and Belonging" 

Overview:  A strong Ethics Program not only clarifies and strengthens relationships with customers and vendors, it protects OGE's reputation, interests, and assets in the community. 

Objectives:

  • Defining Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and how companywide Values and Beliefs reinforce these components
  • Compare and Contrast Equity and Equality
  • The impact of Inclusion on Belonging

      Presenter:  Kimberley Taylor-Riley


      Kimberley Taylor-Riley currently serves as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager for OGE Energy Corp.  She supports the development and execution of OGE's DEI strategy and coordinates Affirmative Action (AA) Program development and implementation, compliance reporting and policy development/review.

      Kim is an accomplished attorney with 17 years of litigation experience in both the civil and criminal arenas.  She has proven expertise in issue identification, advocacy, exercising sound judgment and problem resolution.  Kim previously held positions with the City of St. Louis and the State of Missouri, the City of Lincoln, Nebraska, and the Nebraska Department of Justice. 

      Having worked in civil rights enforcement for 11 years, Kim understands the need to foster a diverse environment that is open and inclusive so that its members are free to be their whole selves in the workplace while contributing their unique experiences for the benefit of the entire organization. 

      A boxed lunch will be served.

      SHRS Members and SHRS Student Members are FREE!

      Non-members and guests are $15.
