Since 2022, UpskillOK has brought together Oklahoma's colleges and universities and employer partners across the state through micro-credential programs and funding support from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. These innovative, short-term, and career-focused credentials offer organizations and their workforce a means to quickly gain in-demand skills and document the competencies gained along the way. During this session tailored for HR professionals, we will delve into the transformative power of tools like digital badging, which can help you foster a culture of continuous learning, recognize skills acquisition, and ultimately drive your organization's success.

1) Examine the ways higher education can support skills-based hiring practices
2) Develop an understanding about how to integrate micro-credentials and digital badging strategies into talent development and acquisition processes.
3) Explore employer partnership opportunities with Oklahoma's colleges and universities
4) Discover the State Regents Employer Toolkit resources to support your workforce
The session will be held in Classroom D113. You will enter via Entrance 2 and park in Parking Lot D. Lunch will be provided. RSVP is required.
