Presented by Sarah Head, Director of the Early Settlement Mediation - Southwest Program

Attendees will learn about:

  • Discussing the Truth’s about Conflict and Mediation. Conflict within the work place. 
  • Practical advice for using mediation techniques within the workplace. 
  • Conflict resolution techniques will be discussed and practiced by attendees with hands-on activities.  

Goal of presentation: to help attendees understand ways in which he/she can incorporate mediation and conflict resolution techniques into their everyday toolkit.


Speaker Bio: 

Sarah Head has served as the Director of the Early Settlement Mediation- Southwest Program beginning in 2019. Since that time, she has conducted over 500 mediations to assist those in crisis reach a mutually acceptable resolutions. After receiving both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication from Northeastern State University, Sarah went on to work in the non-profit sector. She spent the next 10 years running homeless shelters and working to raise funds to support those in crisis. In addition to being a published author and communication presenter, Sarah and her family spend much of their free time outdoors. 

Cost: Free for SWOKHR members, $10 for non-members.


This program has been approved for SHRM and HRCI recertification credit.
