" Responding to the EEOC"

Join us for a special session. We will be hosting an After Hours Networking Event immediately following the learning session.

Brief Summary:

When an organization receives an EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity) complaint, the organization must protect the employee against retaliation, and respond in a timely fashion.

Many employers believe any correspondence from a state or federal agency means an automatic call to an attorney. This presentation will walk through the necessary and recommended steps to guide an organization through the proper response and appropriate actions to respond to the complaint process.

HR Specific Learning objectives:

1. The steps necessary to review the Notice from the Equal Employment Commission.

2. The proper way to notify leadership which will not hinder the day to day business operations.

3. How to ensure the complainant is not retaliated against.

4. Types of investigation necessary dependent on the complaint.

5. How to submit a position statement.
