Join us for an engaging presentation with Dr. Barbara A. Abercrombie, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, SPHR. Barbara will be discussing The Power of Agency - Using agency to create a better workplace.  

Dr. Barbara Abercrombie is the Senior Vice President for Administration at the Housing Authority for the City of Tulsa and the owner of Abercrombie Consulting, LLC, a human resources consulting firm specializing in employee engagement, strategic planning and organizational development. 

Barbara has her bachelor’s degree from Northeastern State University and went on to obtain a master’s degree in human resources from the University of Oklahoma, and a doctorate in workforce education and human resource development from Oklahoma State University. 

Dr. Abercrombie is an active volunteer and believes giving back to our profession is the best way to say thank you.  She is a member of the OKHR State Council, SHRM-Tulsa Board President, a 2025 OKHR Conference Committee Member, Vice President of the Northeastern State University Foundation. She is also the Past President of the Board for Domestic Violence Intervention Services.

This program is pending approval for 1 hour re-certification credit hours toward SHRM for Professional Development Credits (PDCs).
